Today, despite a flair up trying to happen, I would like to plant some things.
I currently have four Rosemary seedlings doing reasonably well. Although I must admit, they would have done even better with a bit more attention. Rosemary can, when it is happy, grow about as tall and wide as a relatively short human. Pot grown plants are unlikely to reach this size but can thrive pretty well in a reduced space.
I have a window box of two varieties of chives that still look fairly weedy but could, by next summer, be thick and strong enough to add tasty and healthy homegrown flavouring to my food. The two types include regular and garlic varieties of chive. The garlic chives are taller and thicker than their common or garden cousins.
I have some garlic ready to plant as well as cherry stones and some ginger. We shall see how this goes.
My reason for feeling inclined to plant and grow stuff right now has a lot to do with the video below. While my overall tendency towards planting and growing is due to my dad and good access to a space where I could experiment with plant cultivation growing up (thank you mum).
Overall, I find the simple pleasure of planting things and watching them grow adds a good boost to my mental health. Somethi9ng that I have no doubt impacts my physical health – or at least my ability to cope with my (lack of good) physical health.
Do you like growing things?

I must confess to being rather fearful that OK will turn into Bad today.
