Long sleep following an active day

Yesterday consisted of a whole bunch of trips in cars and on buses. Not very much actual walking but it was a lot more active than my average day.

Yesterday also featured a failure to can. Dealing with Universal Credit is probably the most stressful thing in my life right now. Yesterday, they managed to shut down virtually all of my higher thinking, executive function, and mental well-being. I was on autopilot after that. Not much was accomplished other than visiting a friend in the hospital.

I feel more balanced today but a 9.4 hour sleep has left me with a stiff neck and a lack of get up and go.

But get up and go is what I must do today. My new glasses are waiting for me to pick them up, and I am looking forward to being able to see distance properly again.

To end on a brighter note, here’s a thing that I drew. You can find more of my art, music, and reason for creating it here.

A silhouette of a cat-like creature with one yellow eye looking at you and another at the end of its tail.
