It is all well and good waking up and feeling like today is the day we start fixing things. It is entirely another to find the motivation in the face of an unrelated and difficult problem.
I came very close to quitting because of a persistent and hard-to-solve bug in my admin area where I wanted to make new and better emotion and reporting tools for my blog posts.
I’ve finally solved the bug. I just about have enough energy to carry on. There’s a hard bit coming up. I need to get that done before I stop or I might never do it.
Update: The horrible bug – that was my fault because I did something inadvisable last year sometime and left error reporting on.
